My name is Barbara Taylor

I have started this resource as I have a desire to help others learn about God. My journey started a year after I was married. Until this time I had been raised in a Christian family and attended church regularly but it was really just the done thing and not something personal.

After I was married our then minister decided my husband and I would be ideal to run the sunday school! After I got over the initial trepidation I started looking at resources and using these to teach the children. However, I was being asked questions I couldn't answer and so more research was needed. And as I read and studied, everything became more real and personal and my true faith journey started.

Having a logical mind, the way the Bible fits together fascinated me - how one part explains and links to another. I made the decision to read the entire and Bible and, although it took me nearly 2 years, this changed my life. I wanted to know more and more and so eventually enrolled in a Theology course to study as much as I could about the Bible. I completed my theology degree in 2017.

I love teaching and explaining all this to others and from this love this website has developed. I initially wrote the Alpha to Omega series for my sister who expressed a desire to read the Bible. The Exploring the Bible series arose out of teaching sunday school. My latest project, Penetrating the Psalms, is slow growing but started when studying this module and I wanted to know ALL the Psalms not just the few we studied.

My hope is that these materials can help you grow in knowledge and faith and experience life changes as I did.
